i will pause here so that you can all pick your jaws up off the ground.
that's right, folks, we might possibly be the luckiest kids in town. we are going to be spending the next two years in a paradise i can't even manage to wrap my brain around. i mean, technically, we have jobs, but i would be willing to floss jaguars if it meant i got to be in belize for 2 years.
in all actuality, we will both be serving as elementary education teacher trainers. our peace corps orientation is august 18-20th, and will most likely take place in miami.
over the next two months, we will be packing up our greensboro lives and preparing to head north. we'll spend july and the beginning of august primarily in pennsylvania visiting friends and family.
if i manage to find time amidst packing and teeming with joy, i will be sure to create some belize specific links so you all can read up on this awesome little country. in the meantime, a quick wikipedia search will give you the basics. have fun exploring!
