looks like we'll be out of greensboro by the end of july at the latest. if the honduras program accepts us medically, we'll be gone by the end of june. if that doesn't work, we'll stick around until the end of july, and then head up to pennsylvania to be with our families. we would love to have extra time to see family and friends, but are also excited by the prospect of going to honduras!
lives in greensboro. this weekend i started taking pictures of our furniture and posted ads on www.craigslist.com. we've already managed to secure buyers for a lot of stuff...i was definitely surprised it happened so quickly. hopefully we'll be able to hang onto our bed until the last few weeks. the rate at which people are responding makes me think maybe we should just pitch a tent in our backyard for the last month and save up some cash!
anyway, i was also doing
a bit of cleaning (cleaning of the computer files, that is) and i came across some great photos we took last fall during our trip to wintergreen, virginia. we drove home along the blue ridge parkway, and stopped at a few of the trails along the way. it was gorgeous. check it out. this first one is a shot of the view from the wintergreen resort in virginia.

these three are from one of the trails we stopped at along the parkway.
well, at least i'm managing to keep myself busy with packing and selling our humble little life away. it would be nice to know something for sure regarding the whole peace corps aspect, but at least we have something tangible to focus on in the meantime. by the way, if anyone's got any requests for specific items they've spotted in our little casa, be sure to let us know! (we've got lots of books searching for new homes)
