the vegetable plant in the photo from the last post IS a tomato. what can i say? we're amateur farmers here, people. anyway, it's amazing...i started tossing buckets of water at the plant every once in a while, and now one of the tomatoes is even turning red! so exciting. i love volunteer vegetable plants. think i'll start tossing seeds into the backyard at random to see what sort of chaotic vegetable salad we can come up with! (just kidding, an actual structured garden on the summer to-do list).
well, we are headed up to sarteneja for the easter weekend. hopefully next week i will have a few moments to post some photos and give everyone an update. in the meantime, hope everyone has a relaxing holiday.
